How to prevent Conjunctivitis:

1. One should not touch the eyes with dirty hands. When children get hurt, they cry and wipe their eyes with dirty hands. Such situations are unavoidable, but can often result in eye infections of some type.

    

2. Wash the eyes with water and wipe with a clean tissue.

    

3. If itching starts in an eye, one should use an eye drop to relieve the itch and should not rub the eyes.

    

4. If the eyes turn red/pink, always seek medical help for proper treatment. This would prevent the disease from spreading.
